Archiving – Fast information retrieval
Abas DMS offers fast, reliable and audit-ready archiving, administration, and organization of paper documents, Office documents, emails, drawings, project plans, and other information. Electronic documents can be archived simply by dragging and dropping them in the browser. Paper documents can be scanned using connected multi-function devices and assigned to a process - manually or by barcode. Optical character recognition (OCR) converts the image information into a text format that can be searched using a full-text search. In addition to the full-text search, documents can be found in a matter of seconds using numerous search options and criteria - even on the go.
Integration with business processes
Whether in customer service, internal or external sales, accounting, or management - benefit from the deep integration of document management in your ERP business processes. Documents and receipts from the ERP system are automatically indexed (assigned keywords) and archived when they are printed. This means that the entire document chain of digital documents for a business transaction is available to you in one place - from requests, quotations, orders, and order confirmations to packing slips, invoices, and all correspondence. When you open an invoice in the ERP system you'll automatically receive all the associated documents directly in the DMS dashboard without time-consuming searches. Furthermore, Abas DMS supports the creation of eInvoices and therewith automatic electronic invoice distribution.
