Flexible quality planning and assurance
Are inspection processes in your company unplanned and sometimes undocumented? Are no quality assurance measures initiated at relevant times? In Abas ERP, custom inspection plans can be created for your inspections and assigned to items or operations. In it, inspection characteristics with inspection equipment, inspection types and samples can be freely configured, providing you with clarity and a high degree of flexibility. Goods can be inspected as required, for example, upon goods receipt, goods issue, or during production - and of course in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. The inspection jobs are automatically created based on the rules you have defined yourself. In addition, you receive an overview of all inspection jobs, including the option of entering values directly and monitoring the inspection equipment used. Our Abas Connect is available for connecting inspection systems.
Efficient complaint management
When complaints arise, a well-functioning complaint management is essential for customer satisfaction. In Abas ERP, you can process complaints quickly and easily. If errors are found during the quality inspection, complaints can be created with a direct reference to the process (purchasing/sales) and seamlessly traced back at any time thanks to full integration. You can use an 8D or a 4D report. Our complaints management also serves as a kind of early warning system, because you can initiate precautionary measures at an early stage if product defects are identified. Furthermore, our vendor evaluation offers you a high degree of flexibility by enabling you to individually configure all criteria and their weightings. The Detailed view provides clarity for the key figure calculation.

Continuous improvement through quality reporting
Tracking errors is essential to achieving high quality. How easily can you identify which vendor, product or operation causes the most errors? With just a few clicks, our integrated error analysis provides reliable information about the most common sources of errors. For your quality management and preventive quality assurance, the integrated error analysis is a helpful tool to systematically analyze errors recorded during quality inspections, identify the causes of errors, and eliminate them permanently. In addition, you receive information as to whether errors can be traced back to processes (for example, product development, production, assembly, transport, or warehousing) and you can initiate targeted measures for process improvement.

Our current ERP system tells me exactly where I am in each area. The added value at our Achern, Germany location has increased significantly. For example, we had outsourced parts of production to Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Thanks to the reorganization, we can now produce the parts more cost efficiently in Achern. As a consequence, we have brought the outsourced processes back to Achern.
