Director of Upgrade Services
Tareq joined abas in 2009 as a technical consultant, and now works as the Director of Upgrade Services. His role is to act as the technical lead on projects within abas USA and perform upgrades for customers to the latest versions of abas ERP, as well as work on EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) tickets. Tareq also works to build technical solutions that improve and expand functionality within the ERP software.
Tareq enjoys the friendly environment at abas and described the company as very supportive and understanding. When asked about how the product has changed since he began in 2009, Tareq explained how the new features and modules that have been introduced since then have called for some major advancements, as well as how well the product is now documented. “abas ERP has undergone some major changes over the past few years,” said Tareq. “If you saw the way our current product was in 2009, you wouldn’t recognize it.”
