About OK Media Group
Portrait

OK Media is one of the largest press and assembly service providers in Europe, and has been producing, printing and packaging analog and digital media for more than 50 years.

The company restructured in 1998 and introduced a new ERP system. Before switching to ERP, OK Media used custom inhouse solutions that could no longer adequately meet their requirements. During their selection process OK Media found that abas ERP was best suited to meet their requirements.

The ERP software provides optimized workflows throughout the German company, which has enabled them to replace many of their outdated inhouse solutions with abas ERP. The OK Media group uses the functions for purchasing, sales, materials management, scheduling, production, costing, financial accounting, fixed asset accounting, controlling, and EDI. PDC/PTR is implemented as an expansion.

Due to the downturn in the CD and DVD production market, OK Media has switched their focus to logistics and custom packaging. To ensure quacking processing, the abas document management system is installed for warehouse management in the logistics department.

Multifaceted, a broad range, and agility characterize our company and abas ERP, which is why we’ve had such a successful and long-term collaboration.

- Friedrich Halm, Director IT, Controlling & Reporting
