COMET-Pumpen was founded in Germany in the late 1970's and quickly developed into a lead manufacturer of products for caravans and mobile homes. By continuously developing their products, including in the area of small 12-volt direct current pumps, COMET-Pumpen Systemtechnik GmbH & Co. KG was able to establish a strong market position.

Their previous software, Microsoft Dynamics AX 2004 SP1, couldn't keep pace with COMET's growth and reached its limits at the end of 2013. An expensive update was required, but it would've been coupled with an unnecessary expansion of the product scope. After detailed consulting by alltrotec, the midmarket company decided against an update and for abas ERP. The ERP system is used in the areas of Purchasing, Sales, Costing, Scheduling, Production, Materials Management, Financial Accounting, Fixed Asset Accounting, as well as CRM. abas Mobile is also integrated.

Thanks to the implementation of the software in the company, master files are easier to maintain and the number of work steps in document archiving have been reduced. The integration of PTR and PDC is completed.
