Accessing your ERP system through a web browser is a key component of moving to Cloud ERP or Hybrid ERP (partly in the cloud and partly on premise). Here's what you can expect when you access abas from the cloud through abas ERP Web UI:
1. Familiar browser-based interface
Never underestimate the power of a simple, intuitive web-based interface. The abas ERP Web UI uses Google's Material Design, instantly recognizable by its grid-style layouts, "card" motif, and transition animations. By using familiar design elements, icons and navigation, abas ERP is more intuitive, easier to pick up, and requires less training for ramping up new users. With the Web UI, each function within your organization has a dedicated tab: purchasing, sales, finance, production, etc., and users can move between functions effortlessly.
2. Advanced search capabilities
Simplified search is the backbone that supports the intuitiveness of abas Web UI. From any window in any tab, users have full control over how they search and what they see when they drill down into specific accounts. It's search the way it should be.
Keep ERP search simple or dig down deep with advanced search.
abas ERP Web UI also includes advanced search capabilities. Overseers can customize the columns of the search results according to what they and their users want to see at first glance. For advanced ERP users who prefer markup language to natural language, abas Web UI comes with a one-click expert toggle. And of course, all search fields autocomplete as users type for even faster results.
3. Working sets
We've all been there before: In order to complete one major task, you have to complete two other minor tasks first. But then those minor tasks have multiple parts, which lead to a few more tasks and so on and so on. Pretty soon, you're left with a thousand partially finished tasks and no idea where to go next.
Working sets, a hub for all your incomplete and unsaved fields in abas Web UI, prevents users from opening too many windows and losing track of their works in progress. At any time, users can see all the pages they've opened, flip between them, complete them, save them and close them out one by one or all at once.
4. Demo mode
Are you interested in customizing your UI interface in a big way, but worried you will interfere with the software that production depends on? Then switch over to Demo Mode, located on the left-hand pop-up toolbar.
Experiment with any changes you're curious about without altering your actual ERP system. Once you design the demo interface the way you want it, transfer the edits over to your real interface. And if you're not happy with the changes, simply refresh the demo and try again.
5. Templated reports
abas Web UI offers a catalog of clean templates for any report a user would need to generate. No finicky formatting tools or repeat data entry required.
