WILLBRANDT KG AND J.MEINERT GmbH is a family-owned, rich in tradition, group of companies from Hamburg. They produce, stock and distribute technical products for their industry at five locations in northern Germany.

abas has been implemented since 2003. With a group revenue of over 50 million euro, 70 users use the system which has been installed on a Linux server at their location in Hamburg. Networking the separate locations, system stability and quick access performance were the key criteria for the system. abas has been connected to UPS, EASY archiving, a browser-based fax solution, and Open-Xchange, a medial database. Thanks to the system's flexible configuration options, the company group was able to fulfill manifold eBusiness requirements for business transactions with more than 100 customers and vendors.

Its constant availability is an important factor, especially in wholesale, as we handle a large number of processes each day.
