Stemmann-Technik is one of the worldwide leading manufacturers of components and systems for energy and data transfer in the industrial and transportation sectors. Trains, wind engines, cranes, construction machines and more rely on Stemmann products. When the old ERP system was no longer able to keep up with the rapidly growing company, they began a search for a new ERP system. abas Business Software stood out among all other packages on the ERP market. Implementation was smooth, thanks to an experiences and prepared abas partner. Constantly changing market requirements and strong growth require an ERP system that is flexible. ABAS can accomplish this by adjusting the system and by continually expanding functionality. Upgrade to new versions, including the adoption of all individual changes, can generally be carried out within a day. The connection of various external systems, such as plant data collection (XTIME-BDE) and production control (felios) was made possible by openness of the system.

The implementation of a new abas version gives us the opportunity to continue to grow, thanks to new functionalities. Topics such as CRM, BI and DMS are future projects which make it possible to deal with increasing customer demands.
