A multi-step evaluation was performed over the course of several months. Two important criteria were that the operation costs and upgrade costs stay within manageable limits. The company‘s goal was transparency of information and data, as well as improved profitability with an integrated ERP system. The first step was to introduce abas at the company‘s Swiss headquarters. In a second ERP project, implementation was carried out at their Italian subsidiary. The company now benefits from efficient communication from engineering to production, thanks to individualizations. After the first successful upgrade, which took place during the implementation phase of the project, the company was able to generate added value with the new features.
