About Lacher Großküchen GmbH

Lacher is one of Germany's leading providers of catering and commercial kitchen equipment. The USP is planning and consulting services, as the focus is on efficiency instead of appearance when designing a commercial kitchen. This was also the case with the biggest project in the company's history: from the first draft, the development of a tailor-made plan through to implementation – Lacher provided the European Central Bank in Frankfurt with commercial kitchen and standard operating equipment.

To automate and digitalize processes, the wholesale company decided to implement a new ERP system in 2016. After a comprehensive comparison, Lacher finally chose abas ERP. In parallel with the implementation, processes were restructured to finally eliminate manual operations, for example in the areas of accounting and logistics. An advantage is the compatibility of abas with the DMS system from ArcFlow, which was already used before the ERP system was implemented. Overall, Lacher benefits from the great flexibility of abas ERP, as customizations, such as new interfaces, can be implemented quickly and agilely also after the go-live.
