GKD Group

The GKD Group is a market leader providing technical meshes for architecture, filter media and process belts. The meshes being produced in the three GKD business divisions differ considerably. Orders in the CREATIVE WEAVE area often have a batch size of one. But GKD also produces in larger series. Some machines are producing the same product for months. This mixture of large series, small series and make-to-order production is also a challenge for the ERP system. A flexible, adaptable and future-proof system, such as abas is needed, which can adapt to the constantly changing requirements of GKD. With regular upgrades of the ERP system, which was implemented in 1991, the market leader for technical meshes from Düren is provided with the newest functions and technologies and is therefore always "up-to-date".

We have been using abas since 1991. Through upgrades we remain always up-to-date, in terms of technology and function. The software supports our complex requirements optimally due to its flexibility and adaptability. Without abas we would not be what we are today: world market leader for technical meshes.
