Dr. Werner Freyberg GmbH & Co. KG is a company in the Detia-Degesch-Group, whose roots go back to 1817.

The group is globally active in the development, production and sale of pesticides and products to protect stored commodities.

These products are sold to specialists in over 120 countries. In Germany, abas ERP has been used in 10 of the group's companies for the areas of purchasing, sales, productions, research & development, materials management, financial accounting, and controlling.

The decision was made for abas due to the flexibility of the software, which enables it to map the processes of the chemical industry as well as distribution processes. Another significant point was the support for multiple languages; all customer documents are printed in five languages. The integration of software solutions, such as the sanction list check of FORMAT and PDC by Isgus Zeus, was implemented without hassle.

A lot changed with the implementation. Thanks to Multisite and the automation it provides, sales orders can now be processed significantly faster. The transparency of the processes makes it easy to determine where the company is at, at any given time.

The intuitive operation led the users to accept the new software quickly.
