Bomatec Holding

Bomatec Holding AG, based in Höri, Switzerland, is a leader in the fields of sensors, magnets and drive technologies. Bomatec relies on abas ERP as their software solution and bytics AG as their IT systems consultant to establish optimized business processes throughout their group of companies with offices in Switzerland, Canada, China and Malaysia.

The new ERP software was implemented in 2014 to satisfy all of Bomatec Holding AG's requirements, particularly the requirements of their five subsidiaries.

Bomatec started running abas in both of their Swiss companies. Core departments such as purchasing and sales were the first to be adopted in abas ERP. Specializations, like a product capture assistant, were then tested and integrated.

Bomatec also relies on abas ERP to conduct their project management, as well as using the Business Apps and web applications. Interfaces to and from their QM software and a DMS have also been realized. Further project highlights include custom quotation costing with transport cost determination, expanded lot management, and mobile data recording in their warehouse.
