BOLL FILTERS are in demand all over the world. In shipbuilding and engine construction, Boll & Kirch Filterbau GmbH is the industry leader in filtration technology. The company is growing. Since 2002 ComputerKomplett SteinhilberSchwehr has been supporting the expansion with abas. 180 concurrent users are working with the software which can be dynamically adjusted to new requirements while remaining upgrade compatible. A lot has changed since the system went live: For example, lead times in production have been reduced by 1/3 by switching from workbench assembly to Kanban-based flow production. Transparency and the ability to provide information has increased as well as measurability of performance. This in turn has boosted the productivity of the company and the efficiency of business processes.

What fascinates me about our ERP system is its flexibility. I can quickly add a field to a screen, which is then immediately available in the database. I saw this for the first time at a presales event. Since we constantly have to map new processes in our software, it was exactly what we were looking for.
