An outdated ERP system with a lot of individual programming for which an upgrade could take up to two months caused 2f-Leuchten Ges.m.b.H. from Austria to search for a new solution. 2f was looking for a standard system which could be quickly and easily adjusted to the constantly changing new requirements of this hotel lighting and light solutions specialist and would not jeopardize the existing modifications. The new business software needed to be able to support internal and external processes through an organization know-how, integrated in the software. abas ERP and the Austrian abas software partner offered the best demonstration and most compelling solutions to all of 2f’s questions. Since ‘go live’ of abas ERP, the use of the software could be continuously improved, which in turn lead to a 25% increase of productivity at 2f-Leuchten. Delivery reliability, ability to provide information and service quality have also improved.

Compared to our old system upgrading with abas ERP is child’s play. Despite adjustments, the new version can be imported in only one weekend. Our customizations remain even after an upgrade and with each new release there are new functions which we can use immediately. When carrying out annual upgrades, training effort for our employees remains manageable.
